It’s all about the breezy, open, relaxed fitting clothes for me at Festival. Hours of sitting, enthusiastic dancing and time spent sitting around the fire pit call for comfort. Of course, that doesn’t mean that you can’t also look nice.
The chambray top in my hand was my constant companion for festival. Filled the need of denim jacket, sweater, umbrella, pillow and desk. Much much much fun. This particular outfit saw me through the wonderous Billy Bragg, the delightful (and easily most stylish ladies at the Festival) Chic Gamine and my personal favorite, K’naan – who is both adorably cute and incredibly talented, and inspires me to dance more than any other performer ever has.
While I had an amazing festival experience, I’m still recovering from a brutal case of sun stroke that laid me pretty low for most of last week (hence why I haven’t posted until now). Stay tuned for more Folk Festival pictures, of what I wore, what the performers wore and a general evaluation of Festival Style (naked marching bands for the WIN).
